Readiness to become a physical education teacher: An analysis of the four teacher competencies

Teacher competency standards are the main capital that must be possessed by teacher candidates. This study aims to find out how much level of readiness students become a in Department Physical Education, Universitas Islam Riau. The type this research is quantitative research. population were Education with total number 240 people. sampling technique used incidental sampling. Based on technique, samples was 41 students. instrument uses questionnaire. data analysis percentage calculation technique. results showed competent ready. It can seen from achievement 84% range 81% -100% very strong category. Limitation which respondents who only people certainly not enough describe actual situation. recommended for further researchers develop so other parties contribute development and science future.
